Jose Salvador Saenz "J. Salvador" (born June 30th, 1979) is an emerging Nicaraguan-American director, director of photography, editor and screenwriter. After graduating from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in 2002 with a major in Animation and Media Arts, he began his career as a character designer and illustrator for the theme park industry in Florida. Never losing sight of his passion for storytelling, J. Salvador honed his skills in photography and filmmaking. He attributes his keen eye for effective visual storytelling to his art background and early career as an illustrator and photographer. J. Salvador's work is most notable for tugging at the heart strings and drawing an emotional response through the use of natural light, creative shot blocking, pacing and most importantly by connecting with the audience through empathy.
